HairTC operates under a strict separation between its editorial content and its commercial activities. This policy governs how we create, review, update and correct all content published on this platform.
Content Creation Standards
All articles, clinic reviews, cost guides and procedure explainers published on HairTC are researched and written by our editorial team. We do not publish guest posts, sponsored articles, or content written or supplied by clinics, manufacturers, or other commercial entities without clear disclosure.
Clinical and procedural information is cross-referenced against published medical literature, peer-reviewed research, and guidance from recognised professional bodies including the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). Where data ranges are provided — for costs, graft counts, recovery timelines — these are derived from aggregated patient data and clinic research, not from single-source claims.
Clinic Reviews and Directory Listings
Clinics listed in our directory are assessed independently. Our evaluation criteria include Google review volume and rating, verified surgeon credentials, technique offering, international patient support, pricing transparency, and aftercare provision. No clinic pays to be listed, to appear in a higher position, or to receive editorial coverage.
Where we have identified concerns about a clinic — including negative patient outcomes, regulatory issues, or misleading advertising — we reserve the right to exclude or flag that clinic regardless of any commercial relationship.
Corrections and Updates
We correct factual errors as soon as they are identified. Corrections are made transparently — we do not silently alter published content. Significant corrections include an editor’s note at the top of the relevant article stating what was changed and when.
All evergreen content (procedure guides, cost data, recovery timelines) is reviewed for accuracy on a rolling basis and updated when medical practice, pricing, or clinical standards change. Update dates are displayed on all articles.
Conflicts of Interest
HairTC generates revenue through referral fees and display advertising. This commercial model does not influence editorial decisions. Editorial staff do not have access to commercial data about individual clinic referral volumes or revenues. Clinic rankings, editorial features and content recommendations are made on editorial merit alone.
No editor or writer accepts payments, gifts, free consultations, or other benefits from clinics, surgeons, or product manufacturers in connection with their work on this platform.
